This Fractal Audio Axe FX II XL+ modeling platform is complemented by the Fishman Triple Play Synth System for Guitar.
The laptop is used as a Instrument Host for the Fishman Triple Play system, as well as being an editor / librarian for the Fractal Audio Axe FX as well as the system’s MIDI Controller, the RJM Music MasterMind GT-10 Controller.
For live gigging the synth output is handled by a Focusrite Scarlett Solo Soundcard to FOH / Monitors.
Onstage reference monitors are Yorkville Sound NX25P-2 powered speakers. Having a Canadian made FRFR cabinet for guitar modeling systems is a wonderful thing. Top quality sound & construction at a fraction of the cost of imports while creating Canadian jobs is sonic & social bliss.
Setup and tear down time is expedited by the custom patch panel on the rack rear.
For recording at home, the Axe FX’s Outputs are routed to the Soundcard and into Logic Pro
