Aside from stellar sonics & player ergonomics, the primary criteria for this design was weight for checked luggage considerations.
To beat the overweight grief at the airport, we did the build in a manner that allows for easy removal & reinstallation of the 6 Channel DI Box to quickly shed 7lbs to bring the weight in under the limit.
